Depending on the firmware that drives the board (see the pic on your right), your project can functions as a digital clock, a countdown/countup counter, a stopwatch, a 4-digit number generator, etc.

1. Study the project document.

Collect your components and check against the BOM list. Do not lost the parts and PCB. You will not be re-issued with another set.

If you lost your PCB, you will not be given a replacement, neither you can buy the PCB outside. You would have to wire wrap the entire circuit. Otherwise you will fail the module. Click here to see the wire wrap version [pic 1] [pic 2].

Complete the BOM list. Use the list of e-vendors given to get the vendors' part numbers and prices.

You do not to fill the BOM list with the exact parts issued to you. Suitable parts will do. Submit your completed BOM list to your instructor.

4. Remeber to bring your laptop for your next class for the equiz.
